Here at Hypnotherapy Islington we can provide you with a therapeutic experience that will enable you to let go of unwanted baggage. In a relatively short time you can change negative aspects of your life and begin a new positive phase.

Some problems, respond to just one hypnotherapy session. This includes the Stop Smoking session that has been shown to be successful as a one-off session. A CD is provided as backup after your session. Other examples could be a session to prepare for a speech at a wedding or other occasion or any stand-alone situation which needs extra confidence to perform it well such as a Board Room Presentation or Interview for a job.

Confidence and Self Esteem, whilst they can be affected positively by one session, are best served by at least two or three sessions of hypnotherapy suggestions. This enables the suggestions to be thoroughly accepted by the subconscious mind and for various techniques to be taught so that confidence can be felt easily when using the various techniques. CDs are provided.

Self Hypnosis is also taught to empower you on your life’s path. I will show you how to hypnotise yourself if you follow this link. You can use it for improving your sporting abilities, your confidence and for generally feeling good about yourself and your life. You can also use self hypnosis for chilling out and generating a feeling of calm within yourself.

Conditions such as Fear of Flying can often be tackled in under three sessions using different techniques to affect positive change. As it can be the result of deeper underlying issues such as claustrophobia, fear of heights, control issues etc., a course of Hypnoanalysis may be recommended. This is a thorough way of getting to the root of your problems and of letting them go forever.

This form of therapy is also really fantastic for issues relating to self esteem and fears of all kinds because the root of our fears usually lies in the past and stem from our childhood years. Repressed emotions can cause us to feel insecure and unable to cope and show up in many different ways to distress us. Phobias and Panic Attacks are examples of some of the ways these repressed emotions cause us problems. We don’t usually know why we feel these uncomfortable feelings and therefore uncovering these emotions during hypnoanalysis will allow you to let go of the triggers for the distress in your life right now. These repressions act as security guards for your protection BUT, although they think they are helping you, they are actually causing more distress. By uncovering them during hypnosis and allowing emotions to be expressed, they are released from your subconscious mind. This will allow you to enjoy your life once more without the disruptive energy of their presence.
